SUMMER CAMP
Summer Camp dates are
dependent upon the school schedule but the Summer Camp dates are normally in
June.Canvas wall tents are provided,
along with army style cots, and everyone eats in the chow hall.The Summer Camp guide can be found on the
Gulf Coast Council web site.
About every
two years our Troop elects to spend their Summer Camp at one of the many great
locations around the south.We have gone
to Woodruff in northern Atlanta, Wallwood in Tallahassee, and Skymont in middle
Tennessee. The cost of these camps are
higher than our local camp and there are associated gas and food fees while we
travel.
